Changing Course Seal of Approval

Full Disclosure: If you follow a link that includes the words "ChangingCourse.com/recommends," and you then decide to purchase something from that expert/company, Changing Course earns a referral fee.

You and I both know there's a lot of "work from home" and "business opportunity" scams out there. That's why I am VERY picky about which resources I'll recommend to my valued customers and subscribers.

I won't endorse any company's product or service unless it receives a "YES" on each of the following eight criteria:

1.      Does the company have a proven track record?

2.      If a Business Opportunity: Is there an existing market or need for this kind of work?

3.      Are the materials and/or training high-quality?

4.      Are instructors, course developers, and/or service providers experts in their field?

5.      Is the organization committed to excellence in customer service?*

6.      Is the course or program a good value for the money?

7.      Does the company offer a money-back guarantee?

8.      Have I used the resource itself or had direct experience from a trusted colleague or a respected media outlet.

*On very rare occasion I have found after making a recommendation that the customer service being offered is not up to my standards. In such cases I yank the endorsement. However, there are cases where I continue to stand by the product, but add low grade for customer service so you are aware you may have to, for example, call or email several people before getting a response.

It's never too late to be what you might have been. ~George Eliot
